How can I get rid of the fake girls on social media that are claiming to be hookups? Is there a way to shuffle through them and the real women that actually want to talk?

Now for the really bad news. I understand why you're looking for that special connection with a woman but because so many of what you find are either fakes or scammers, please consider joining a reputable dating site. The most trusted ones are eharmony, Match and Hinge. When you decide which one you'd like to join just pay attention to details on the different profiles. The more details, the better. And you'll be able to choose someone based on your location which is a big plus.
First thing I suggest is to Google search their pictures. I've used this and have gotten great results, especially if they have used that picture on various social platforms. Alot of the images I've searched that I saw here on QUORA came back to various XXX sites, Instagram, X, etc. Obviously, if you're looking for a girlfriend you don't want to go with someone who has been posting porn, or maybe that's what you're looking for lol.
If you start messaging with someone you feel is really what they say they are watch for any inconsistencies in what they've told you about themselves. If someone has two or more different stories they are lying to you.
What is the most ridiculous obviously false verse in the Bible?
If they are hesitant to speak with you on the phone that's a red flag. If they only talk to you late at night, they are probably married. Have they been willing to tell you about the other social platforms they are on and let you look at those? If not, something isn't right.
Good Luck and keep your head on the swivel!
It's hard, I agree, but there's a few tips that make sorting through the various women a little easier.
